Investors Financial Group began with our President Mike Lee in 1993 when he Realizing the Dream wanted to establish a company based on integrity and honesty providing value to the customer and agent. Mike initially started his business from his single wide trailer on a family farm in Johnston County, North Carolina. In 1998 Mike moved his business to a small business center in Dunn, North Carolina and began doing business as Lee and Associates.

By year 2000 the two offices did not provide adequate room to operate and Mike moved his office into the Dunn Commerce Park. During the year Lee and Associates decided to establish a lead company and leased the office space adjacent to their current offices. The company had grown to fifty agents and six employees. Biweekly training programs referred to as “Boot Camp” by the office staff became the norm for new agents and a weekly meeting was established to provide leadership and support to the agents.

IFG Main Office
In 2003 Lee and Associates incorporated and changed its name to Investors Financial Group, Inc. In March 2004 IFG moved into the newly constructed office on Tilghman Dive in Dunn, North Carolina. IFG launched its new subsidiary corporation for the lead company, Allied Mailing Systems. Through the focused efforts of Mike Lee, the staff, and agents; IFG has grown rapidly throughout North Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee, South Carolina, Texas, Nevada, and Florida. Plans for long-term growth include the presence of IFG in each state across the country.
